~End of spring~
It has been summer. Oh, I love summer vacation so much. I should have some vacation after 8 months joining this ‘gotei’. Ah… forget it. We’re really busy right now.
Now, we were in lunch time discussing. We always did it for decide something. Like our event. Or, just enough for chatting around.
“How about if we watch ‘Hanabi’ together??” said Hinamori-san when we were discussing ‘How to spend our summer time’
“Where??” asked Nanao-san.
“I heard, there always be held ‘Hanabi Festival’ near Sakishima River. Actually, the Hanabi held in Mizuhara yard,” Hinamori-chan pull out a pamphlet from her bag.
“Ah, it’s not far from here,” Suddenly, Chizuru-san was joining.
“Yeah. We can go there after finishing our entire job,”
“When??” asked Inoue-san.
“I read in the leaflet, it will be held at 29th July,”
“With whom will you go there?”
“Of course with Dr. Eishima!” said Hinamori-san happily.
“Dr. Zaraki,” Nanao-san complained.
“Maybe with Dr. Kurotsuchi,” said Nemu-san.
“With Dr. Ukitake!!” shouted Kiyone-chan.
“I’ll go there with Dr. Unohana”
“I’m with my boyfriend,” seemed Inoue-san shyly.
“Now, Aiko-chan was left by. With whom you’ll go there?” suddenly, Hinamori-san asked me.
“Hah??”
“Of course you’ll go there with Dr. Abarai, won’t you???” Isane-san looked at me curiously.
“No. I guess not,”
“Why??”
“He doesn’t like noise,” I smiled at them.
The situation was very silent.
“You’re not kidding us, aren’t you?”
“No. besides, now, Dr. Abarai is very busy. Not my business to disturb him,”
I decided to go there with Unohana nee-san. I really won’t to bother him. Now, his goal is to make this Hospital better than now. He wanted to make a large parking lot, increase the quantity of ambulance, and add more installation of Emergency. Also increase all facilities in this hospital. So, I’d better didn’t bother him.
15th June, Hanabi Time…
At the Hanabi Night, I wore my mom’s Yukata. The pattern was ‘momiji leaves’. It is very beautiful with soft purple as the base colour.
“Aiko-san, you’re so beautiful,” praised Dr. Zaraki.
“Sankyuu, Doctor,”
“But, why you didn’t come with Abarai-kun??”
“Ah, He was so very busy. So, I’d better to let him with his job,”
Then, before we watched the peak of hanabi’s night, we went around in that place. Inoue-san loves to played ‘took the fish’, Nanao-san loves sweets, and Unohana nee-san loves yakisoba. Ah, everyone has their own favorite thing here.
But, I missed Dr. Abarai so much… it’s the loneliest night that I trough without him.
Suddenly, someone took my hand, and pull me out from the group, from the others! I think it was a bad guy. But…
“Don’t shouted! It’s me,”
Ah, Dr. Abarai…??
“Doctor?? Why are you here?”
He didn’t answer. He just guided me to a hidden place.
“Ssssshhh…. It just our secret,” He asked me to an unknown place.
I guess, my face is pale. I was, because He was so damn cool! He still wore his work uniform. His face looked so bright cause of the Hanabi’s light.
“Don’t be so panic. I’ll be not various with you,”
He looked at me, and showed me the noise from upside.
This is the hill’s peak. This place was near the Hanabi’s launched.
“I hate noises but, I love Hanabi, so, every time the ‘Night Hanabi’ holds, I always choose this place,” then, He sat front of me. Then, I followed him.
“Actually, I always bring some snack for watch Hanabi. But, I’m sorry, I’m bring nothing this time,”
“Do you like some ‘taiyaki’??”
“That’s my favorite!”
“Um, yes. I just mean to bring it home for you. But, unexpectedly, I met you here,” I opened the box. The smell of taiyaki was so felt by me. Warm, and yummy!!
We had chatting around. It’s been so long I’ve never chatting like this. I’m very happy.
“Wait, the Hanabi will be held!!”
Then we prepared our self to watched Hanabi.
“Now the top event from Hanabi’s night! We count back on!! 10, 9, 8…”
“Come on, Doctor, we count back too!!” I little bit forced him.
“Okay, 7, 6, 5” But, He held my hands and looked at me so deeply,
“4, 3,” He got closer,
“2, 1…”
When the Hanabi was launched, at the same time, He kissed me. Deeply.
It’s my first kiss…
After that accident, when Dr. Abarai was drunk. Ah tonight we had a lot of kiss. One, two, three, ah… too much for counted.
After we watched Hanabi, Dr. Abarai accompanied me to home.
“In this Hanabi time, you still have a chance to bring your car??”
“No, but, what the problem, if we had a little walked to back to hospital. I left my car there.”
We went back to the hospital, trough the ‘Sakishima’ river.
The way to home was so little bit dark. It only lighted by the lampions lamp. I was so nervous at the time.
Walked in couples with him, in the situation like this. Suddenly, He grasp my hand.
“Doctor??” I felt very nervous and ashamed. My face felt warm.
“I’m sorry. But, this is my most beautiful moment,” He smiled at me. I’m just could bended my head down.
“Why your face is so blurry red??”
“Ah… Eh…” I hurried. I didn’t know what I should answer for.
Then, his face was becoming closer again. I thought He wanted to kiss me again.
Oh, God. Why it’s so quickly??
Then…
“I heard, there is a beautiful place near here,” He whispered me, “Would you like to go there with me?”
“Yes…” I just gave a short answer.
“Good. I heard, that place, named…” He was stopping.
“What, Doctor??”
“Up’z, it’s secret,” He glanced at me flirtatiously.
Then, after walked several meters, we were arrived at a large field. “What is it, doctor??”
“Look at this,” He moved the bushes front of us.
Then, it opened beautiful scenery. A large lake, with a small quay, and, lights of fireflies scattered on the lake! Oh, god!! What a beautiful moment for me.
Seemed, Dr. Abarai saw my admiration toward this scenery.
“Is it, very beautiful huh??”
“Oh, thank you Doctor,” oh god, I’m begin to drip my tears.
“Do you know? When I was 8 years old, I always met my mom’s here,”
“Really??”
“Hehe.. Kidding, you stupid! Otherwise, I was live in Tokyo,” He pressed my nose.
“Oww!! It’s hurt!!” I grinned painfully.
“Hehehe, you’re so funny,” He teased me.
Then, the fireflies flied around us. It’s so beautiful. Then, He hugged me again.
“I’m tired,” He complained to me. He hugged me from my back.
No doubt. He was so busy to faced everything. Those were made him tired. I let him hug me. For a little longer.
“Izumi, Let’s go home,”
“Huh? Why so quickly?? I wanted to be little longer here,” I whimpered.
“Do you know, if you were late, I’ll be kickin’ by your damn sister,” He putted his head on my shoulder.
Then, we went home by his car. On the way home, I’m just kept silent, and silent. I’m very nervous. This is my first Hanabi time with a boy, my first kiss after interrupted by our ‘kind friends’, my first date. But, its all are very romantic. From the Hanabi, until the ‘Fireflies’ field’.
Then, we were arriving front of my house.
“Izumi…”
“Yes, Doctor,” I looked toward him. Looked He was waved his hand from the car’s door and smiling.
I was smiling too… This is the time for goodbye-kissing. I ran to him shyly. He caught me up into his hug. My hands circled his waist and…
“Thank you for this night,” I just smiled. We were kissing under the moonlight and under the scattered stars.
